The 4th Hydrogen Congress for Latin America & the Caribbean (H2LAC) will take place in Santiago, Chile, on June 5-7, 2024.

Chile launched its hydrogen strategy over two years ago and has since announced more than 60 projects. The country is squarely positioned, like H2LAC, at the vanguard of hydrogen development in LAC.

National roadmaps have recently been published in Argentina, Panama and Ecuador, and Brazil is studying $30 billion in low-carbon hydrogen projects. But while the opportunities are huge, key challenges still remain, not least the development of local demand to sustain and scale the industry.
